Banerjee, Cerdan Win April Super Six

Congratulations to Samir Banerjee and Andrea Cerdan on their victories at the Super Six tournament in New York. Samir Banerjee won five rounds and defeated three seeded players, en route to his victory in the Boys 12 Super Six in Latham, NY. This is Banerjee’s first Super Six Championship.

Andrea Cerdan won the Girls 16 Super Six in Schenectady, NY. Cerdan was seeded seventh, and went on to defeat fifth-seeded Li Ma 6-4, 6-4 to capture the title. This is Andrea’s second Super Six Championship this year.

Stephanie Schrage finished third in the Girls 18. Noah Reich reached the quarterfinals in the Boys 16, and Erika Rems reached the quarterfinals in the Girls 14 in Latham, NY.

The Super Six tournament is the highest level sectional tournament in the region. Congratulations on your achievements!
